Welcome to our blog! We’re so glad to connect with you! When we were first married on October 7, 2000, we thought marriage was going to be easy. We bought into the myth that “happily ever after” would come easily and we could just put our marriage and our relationship on cruise control. Maybe you can relate… We were caught off guard and found ourselves at the point of divorce 8 years into our marriage. We were “married, living as singles.” This led to a crisis in our marriage. So, we began a journey to save our marriage. This time of reconciliation, forgiveness, and prayer ignited in us a desire to help marriages thrive. Now that we have the marriage we always wanted, we are passionate about investing in couples and inspiring them to have the marriage that God intends for them.
We are now proud parents of 4 children. And, although we have a long way to go, we have learned some lessons about raising children that we believe could help parents around the world. Through our wins as well as the times where we’ve done it wrong, we’re hoping to help you better connect with your kids and those you love most. Children are a blessing from God, but they can also be the toughest part of our day. Together, it is our hope that we can encourage each other to grow in our abilities as parents.
Tim is currently a pastor and blogs at www.timparsons.me where he writes about one of his passions, leadership. Consuela stays at home with our kiddos and has the tougher job of the two. We currently live in Lafayette, IN – a city about an hour northwest of Indianapolis and home to Purdue University.
